THE LANDSCAPE SERIES [2004-2009]
About the project:
A trilogy of graphic scores whose forms are derived from techniques used by visual artists to depict landscape. Each score guides an ensemble of sonic improvisers for a pre-determined amount of time using visual cues to generate decisions related to volume, complexity and timbre.
